Our all-inclusive offer includes a generous breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet with sweet and hearty treats. It also includes the themed buffet with live cooking stations during dinner as well as all soft drinks from the drinking fountain.

Our all-inclusive offer applies to all family members. Please understand that we are neither able to verify services consumed nor deduct services that have not been consumed.

Persons suffering from allergies: We are gladly considerate of your allergies and can prepare meals suitable especially for you.

Baby food: HIPP baby-food menu includes various flavours of milk, muesli, tea, milk pudding and pulps. We also prepare fresh pulps for your children upon request.

The Dachsteinkönig Familux Resort is located in Gosau / Upper Austria, at the foot of the Dachstein mountain, across from the ski lift station “Hornspitzbahn”. How to get there the quickest? By car, train, or plane.

Our services do not just apply beginning at check in, but rather before you have even arrived. Our reservation team endeavours to find the most suitable accomodation for your family’s needs, so as to leave nothing desired. But that isn’t all: we also gladly provide a hassle-free journey for you and your loved ones by arranging a transfer from and to the airport or train station (fee required).

Gosau is a fascinating region for mountain biking. The Dachstein massif, lush green fields, managed alps, mountain lakes, and routes in various levels of difficulty are sure to delight any biker.

The “Salzkammergut Mountain Biking Guide” by Schubert and Franzke describes 60 tours. Map 1 shows Gosau with the tours to Iglmoos hut, Hornspitz, Seekar, and Plassen.

Bike rental:
You can rent a fitting mountain bike at local rental shops (fee required).

In order to avoid potential cancellation fees, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance with our partner, Europäische Reiseversicherung (European Travel Insurance). Information regarding the available types of travel insurance, and how to secure your insurance is displayed through the booking process.

Our general cancellation policy:

Please note that we can only accept notice of cancellation in writing. Thank you for your understanding.
In case of cancellation of the reservation prior to departure, or premature termination of your booked stay without additional cancellation insurance or for a reason, listed as a valid cancellation reason, the following costs will apply:

• up to 1 month before arrival – 40% of the total amount of the booking
• up to 1 week before arrival – 70% of the total amount of the booking
• within the last week before the day of arrival – 90% of the total booking

Free cancellation:
No cancellation fee is applied when a booking is cancelled 3 months or longer in advance.
In this case, only the cancellation insurance fee has to be paid, if the insurance has been taken out beforehand.

We offer child care for children from age week one and up. Children are taken care of according to their age, either in the Baby Club, Toddler Club, Mini Club, Maxi Club, or Teenybop Club. Our field trips, arts and crafts activities, and games take your child’s age – and, if possible, their wishes – into consideration. Children under the age of three can take part in field trips with a parent to chaperone them.

Over 20 caretakers are on duty seven days / 90 hours a week, i.e. from Sunday to Friday from 08:30 to 21:00, and on Saturdays from 09:30 to 21:00. This includes chaperoned lunches and dinners.

Our baby area with a toddler’s group, baby changing room, and recreation room offers even our littlest guests the greatest comfort. Of course we also have activities for teens, including animation. For more information on our play areas, please take a look at our hotel brochures or our homepage.

You are welcome to reserve a private caring for your children prior to arrival in consultation with the Manager of the Kidsclub. Cost: € 35.00 per hour.

We welcome dogs of all sizes in our hotel in the bar area and the rooms. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in the restaurant, the garden, the pool area, or the children’s area. We charge 32 euros per day excluding food for each dog, regardless of its size.

At our Kostbar, you can enjoy 16 different wines 24 hours a day from Austria, Italy, France, and Germany as well as exotic wines – for example from Lebanon. Gosau is situated 700 m above sea level and features an impressive view of the Gosaukamm and the famous Dachstein glacier. The largest skiing region in Austria, with a total of 142 km of slopes and 66 ski lifts, offers diverse and family-friendly winter sports activities. The part of the skiing region Dachstein West situated near Gosau includes Hornspitz (with a chair lift), “Fredyland” (directly adjacent to the hotel), and the more demanding Zwieselalm (with a gondola lift).

Fredyland
Fredyland is especially popular with our smaller guests. The fun skiing Freddy assists children in their first skiing efforts. And since staring out is easier if there is more fun, Fredyland also offers fairy tale creatures and boarder cross, rather than boring gates and beginner’s slopes. Up-and-coming skiing stars can practice their talents on the magic carpet, in the fun park, and even on the bobsleigh run.

“Munchkin” skiing course (“Zwergerlskikurs”)
Two-and-a-half to three-year-olds can practice on our beginner’s ski slope on hotel grounds. Book the “munchkin” skiing course from Sundays to Fridays (10:00 to 12:00) on a daily basis or for a full week.

Our spa is open seven days a week. Receive consultation by our experienced masseuses and cosmeticians, and get an individual wellness package tailored to your personal needs. You can make an appointment either up to two weeks prior to your arrival, on the day you arrive, or during your stay in our spa area.

Choose from classic treatments like partial or full-body massages, facials, manicures, or pedicures. Or treat yourself to some exotic wellness, like hot stone massages, alpine hammam treatments or exclusive Dachsteinkönig spa rituals providing a relaxing timeout for two.

1,000 sq m wellness area: spa with 11 treatment rooms for massages, balneotherapy, cosmetics, ayurveda and treatments with Pharmos Natur or Thalgo products; sauna area with six different saunas, outdoor panorama sauna, a relaxation room, and a communication or relax zone including a juice bar.

The ultra-all-inclusive gourmet board includes our generous breakfast, lunch and afternoon buffets with sweet and savoury delicacies, and an evening menu with various choices and all non-alcoholic drinks from the buffet area.
